US says over 270 UFO reports recorded. Were they of foreign origin?

Department of Defense in the United States said in a Tuesday (Oct 17) report to Congress that more than 270 reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena, known as UAPs or UFOs, were made to the government in a recent eight-month period. 

The unclassified report states that there was no evidence that any of the UAPs identified between Aug 30 of last year and Apr 30 of this year originated in space. 

While none of the UAP reports have been confirmed to be of foreign origin, the possibility is being probed.
