First Half: To much of the world, Ogopogo is Canada’s answer to the Loch Ness Monster. Upwards of sixty feet in length, this creature is one of the most documented cryptids in the world. Jason Hewlett’s new book about the monster chronicles countless sightings and frightening folk tales, and film director Eli Watson ventured to Okanagan Lake in an effort to unlock the mystery. They join George Knapp to discuss how the story of Ogopogo dates back to before European settlers arrived in the region and how Ogopogo may be more than just a monster but a spiritual being as well.
Second Half: Cases occurring in Brazil are among the most spectacular in ufological literature, with many close encounter cases that few know about. Brazilian UFO researcher, Thiago Luiz Ticchetti, who has studied the phenomenon for more than 22 years, will discuss well-known cases, such as Varginha, in addition sightings by pilots, and the presence of a UFO over a prison in the Brazilian capital.
