Viral Video Stirs A Storm On The Internet

Yesterday’s total solar eclipse, which seemingly hijacked the April 08 headlines, turned out to be one of the most experienced astronomical events as almost half the US was outside their homes to watch the skies go dark amid the broad daylight. Following the breathtaking event, multiple videos and photos flooded the internet, as netizens, understandably, were ‘ironically’ over the Moon to share their POVs of the Moon covering the Sun. However, amid all the jaw-dropping shots of the eclipse, there was one video that stirred a storm for a different reason. A video of an alleged UFO sighting was shared on the internet, which instantly went viral.

The said UFO was actually a shadow of an aircraft flying above the clouds, during the eclipse. However, what made the otherwise perfectly normal aircraft shadow eerie, was that it seemingly disappeared into the clouds. The video was reportedly shot from Arlington in Texas.

The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘MattWallace888’. The post was captioned, “A new video just surfaced of the UFO spotted over Arlington Texas during the solar eclipse today and people are freaking out because it seems to have disappeared into the clouds.”
