The “explosive” documentary unveils the prospect of an “80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life”.
Fans of all things extra-terrestrial are excited over the announcement of a new documentary coined “intense, dark and suspenseful”.
The Age of Disclosure has been described as “an an explosive documentary that reveals an 80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life and a secret war among major nations to reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin”.
The special features testimony from 34 US Government, military, and intelligence community insiders, as it “exposes the profound stakes for the future of humanity”.
At almost two hours long, the film was showcased at SXSW in March 2025, and had an Oscar-qualifying release at theatres in the US.
However, there is a way for viewers in the UK to watch the documentary.
The film is available to watch on Prime Video, but unfortunately it is not free to stream.
Viewers can rent the film for £14.89, or purchase it to keep for £18.61.
Rentals include 30 days to start watching the film and 48 hours to finish once started.
Prime Video has labelled the film “intense, dark and suspenseful” in its description.
The documentary, by Dan Farah, proposes a conspiracy theory that information regarding the existence of aliens has been subject to a decades-long government cover-up.
Farah previously produced the science fiction film Ready Player One, but scientists have slammed his latest work.
Joshua Semeter is a professor of electrical engineering at Boston University who served on a NASA panel charged with studying classified evidence for the existence of UFOs.
He was sceptical of the film’s allegations, claiming: “I have seen no evidence that the government has been hiding anything.”
In an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, astronomer Charley Lineweaver said the film is full of “these guys who are not scientists, talking about an issue that I think is very scientific, very very interesting, but it’s just baloney”.
The film is among 201 documentaries that could be considered for the next Oscars.
Age of Disclosure is available to rent or buy on Prime Video
