Harvard scholars publish novel Alien scientific paper: Cryptoterrestrials walk among us?

For many decades, the UFO topic has been stigmatized to a point where no academic would even dare talk about it amongst their peers. But developments on the topic since 2017 have slowly taken the stigma away from the topic to what we have today. Harvard University famously became one of the first Ivy League universities in America to have one of their staff members openly studying the UFO Phenomenon. The late Dr. John Mack treated experiencers with therapy and attempted to understand the human psyche of those who went through experiences that are not only hard to believe but also difficult to fathom. Cut to 2024, and not one but two Harvard staffers published a scientific paper that attempts to explain the multiple phenomena that have been reported throughout the decades.

Their names are Tim Lomas and Brendan Case. But they also had a very important collaborator who also wrote the paper alongside them and is well-known in the UFO research community. Dr. Michael P. Masters is one of the pioneers on trying to study the topic from a scientific perspective. He famously wrote books about the topic that have become part of the UFO community’s cultural zeitgeist. One of them is titled, ‘Identified Flying Objects‘. The other one is titles, ‘The Extratempestrial Model‘. Dr. Masters played an important role in this paper that was titled, “The cryptoterrestrial hypothesis: A case for scientific openness to a concealed earthly explanation for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.” As a PhD in Anthropology, Dr. Masters is one of the ideal scientists who can attempt to explain these UAP.

The four Cryptoterrestrial theories

The paper divides this hypothesis into four different theories that attempt to categorize four types of potential cryptoterrestrials. The first ones are Human Cryptoterrestrials. A theory that proposes that an ancietn human civilization that is far more advanced than us but was nearly destroyed during a cataclism thousands of years ago. Since then, the few of them left have been living on earth but hidden from this less evolved human civilization. The second theory is the Hominid or Theropod Cryptoterrestrials, who could be highly evolved versions of other animals from earth. These could be ape-like hominids or even intelligent dinosaurs. The former Extraterrestrial or Extratemporal Cryptoterrestrials talks about beings who came from either a different part of the cosmos or even a different timeline.

Last but not least, we have the Magical Cryptoterrestrials. This theory attempts to explain the many “magical‘ phenomena that have been reported for millennia. In these case, the cryptoterrestrials of this area could also come from a different real of dimension. Remember this is just a hypothesis but talking about it in this setting is progress being made.
