Surge in UFO sightings reported to U.S. government, new investigation portals on the way

CINCINNATI (CNN Newsource/WKRC) – The number of sightings of UFOs being reported to the U.S. government has been increasing recently.

Dozens of reports are already received each month and thousands more and expected in the near future, that’s according to the director of the office established to investigate the incidents.

The agency said that the majority of reports they receive turn out to be either balloons or drones.

But, the agency also said that some of the reports require further investigation, and that they might even be objects used to spy on the U.S.

It’s believed that one reason for the increase in reports is that the Federal Aviation Administration is starting to provide information to the pentagon.

Currently, the pentagon is preparing two new portals for submissions.

One is for historical sightings from current or former government employees, and the other is for public submissions of new reports.
