OSHKOSH – Halloween season is definitely upon us.
Author, researcher and lecturer Chad Lewis is looking to bring the spooky to Oshkosh Sept. 4 when he hosts a paranormal presentation on the Bizarre History of Wisconsin at the Oshkosh Public Library.
Filled with strange deaths, peculiar people and medical anomalies, Lewis’ presentation will deal with the mysterious oddities he’s found while traveling the state and researching Wisconsin’s history.

According to his website, chadlewisresearch.com, the event will feature mysterious creatures roaming the state, UFOs, psychic phenomena, and ghosts and spirits.
A Wisconsin native with a master’s degree in psychology, Lewis has been featured on the Discovery Channel after writing more than 30 books and hosting several lectures on paranormal activity and the supernatural.
The presentation starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. The library is at 106 Washington Ave.
